An obstacle to effective communication is the expectation of changing the other’s viewpoint to be in accord with one’s own by war, intimidation, ‘re-education’, legalisation, idealistic proselytisation, indoctrination, propaganda, or ‘tolerance’ via ‘reprogramming’…..
